InsideScan has been fixed to conform to the newer Apple security standards for third-party applications, introduced with macOS 10.14.5. Starting from this version InsideScan for macOS will be a 64-bit only plug-in, so you won’t be able to use 32-bit TWAIN drivers anymore. If you need to use 32-bit TWAIN drivers on 10.14.5 or later, please contact us at email@example.com in order to get more info about it.

Starting from version 3.5.5 for macOS InsideScan is able to interact with 32 bit TWAIN drivers even when running inside a 64 bit FileMaker application. You can enable this feature by activating the checkbox "Use 32-bit TWAIN Interface" in InsideScan preferences window.
Please note: this feature won't be available on macOS 10.15 and newer, as Apple will drop support for 32 bit software in future versions of macOS.
